June commemorates National Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time to acknowledge and celebrate the history and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across the country. There are many opportunities to learn about Indigenous history this month on the UBC campus, located on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) peoples:
