Find Your Microsoft Teams Meeting Recordings on OneDrive/Teams Starting September 2

September 2, 2021
Microsoft is rolling out a new way to store recorded meetings in Microsoft (MS) Teams. To align with Microsoft’s new policy, UBC’s MS Team service will be updated on September 2 to store recorded meetings in MS OneDrive (or Teams for meetings associated with a Teams site).

Currently at UBC, recorded meetings can be downloaded within 20 days by attendees before it is automatically removed. The revised location of storing recorded meetings in MS OneDrive or Teams (depending on the type of meeting) will continue to provide attendees permission to access recording, in addition to allowing the organizer of the meeting or the person recording the meeting to customize the permissions as needed.

If you have any questions, please contact the IT Help Desk.
