Learn to Browse Securely

Approximately 8 out of every 10 internet users have browsers that are vulnerable to attacks.1 Browsers and plug-ins need to be regularly updated in order to stay secured and up-to-date with new malwares and infections that cybercriminals are conjuring up. Some browsers may automatically update for you, but there are many plug-ins that will require you to follow up and manually update it yourself.

If you are a staff, faculty or graduate student, log into www.vista.ubc.ca to learn more on how you can browse securely by watching a three minute video on Browser Security.
