Update your UBC Wireless Connection

Important changes are coming to UBC's wireless connections (UBC Secure, Eduroam, UBC Private) as of May 9, 2018. These changes affect all faculty, staff and students at all UBC campuses and hospital sites.

To ensure a seamless transition from the existing wireless connection to the new one, please download and install the AutoConnect tool on your mobile devices and tablets by May 9. For faculty and students, this also ensures the WiFi connections are updated upon your return to campus in the fall.

The process to install AutoConnect takes less than 5 minutes per device to complete. To download and run the AutoConnect tool, please visit www.it.ubc.ca/autoconnect

Please note that Android users will be able to upgrade their WiFi connection after May 9 as they are unable to run concurrent network set-up. If you have any questions or experience difficulties, please contact the IT Services Centre on your campus for additional assistance:
