The beta program happened between April 1st and June 30th 2010. The beta program is now closed; we are no longer accepting requests for beta accounts.

Beta Tester FAQ

Who is eligible to apply for a beta test account?
UBC faculty, staff and student employees are eligible to sign up for a beta account. This account offers a limited set of features and should not be used as your primary e-mail address.

How many beta testers will there be?
There is currently no maximum limit set for beta accounts.

What support is expected to be available during the initial configuration (beta test period)?
Limited support will be available to beta testers. If you are unable to resolve a request, please escalate any concerns to fasmail.support@ubc.ca and the team will attempt to resolve your issue on a best efforts basis.

As the System Administrator of our department, can I get an early look at the Interchange-replacement email system that you will be deploying, so I can guide our department users accordingly?
You are welcome apply for a beta account and become part of our early adoption community. By the end of the beta test period, we will have training documents available specifically for System Administrators. This documentation will walk you through system and user configuration; we will also be providing troubleshooting guides and a process for issue escalation.
