Current Project Activities

System Design and Build (Mar – Sept 2010) - Completed
The project team is currently working on developing the detailed design for the system based on the requirements and developing the same. The goal is to finish the build phase by June 30, 2010.

Policies and Procedures Requirements (March – Oct 2010)
The project team is working with the business leadership to address the policies and procedures requirements from the campus related to the budgeting process. Monique Van Vilet, Director, Management Reporting is spearheading this process.

Campus Engagement (Nov 2009 – Oct 2010)
The campus community, especially the Budget Working Group would be heavily involved in the implementation of the new budgeting tool. As per the current plan the project team will work with the Working Group during requirements, design, training, testing and roll-out phases of the project.

Infrastructure Provisioning (Dec 2009 – Aug 2010)  - Completed
The team is working with IT Infrastructure team and also our external vendor partners in making sure all the project infrastructure requirements are met in a timely manner.

Detailed Project Scope, Estimation and Scheduling (Jan – March 2010) - Completed
The project team is currently working on defining/refining the detailed scope, plan and budget for the implementation of the project. The goal is to review the same in the Steering Committee scheduled for Mar 9, 2010.

Solution Blueprint (Feb – March 2010) - Completed
The project team is working towards a high-level Solution Blueprint for the project. This would cover the components like Business Process, Application Design & Technical Architecture. This would form the base for the detailed design planned for later in the project.
