Occasionally the Network Management Centre receives requests from system and network administrators who are interested in restricting access to certain services only to computers in the UBC domain.
When restricting access, domain names should be used whenever possible. Computers in the UBC domain have domain names that end in the suffix "ubc.ca".
Sometimes it is not possible to restrict access using domain names and IP addresses must be used. Following is the current list of UBC IP address ranges:
