UBC Student Email Service is migrating to Microsoft Exchange Online

The UBC Student Email Service is being migrated to Microsoft Exchange Online from February 4 to March 25, 2025. Students will be migrated in groups during this time. Check your UBC Student Email for more info. If you cannot access your email, it's likely you've been migrated. Visit the M365 Student Migration Info Page for more details

The UBC Student Email service offers eligible students with a mailbox hosted in Canada that they can retain after graduation. The email address will be <CWLusername>@student.ubc.ca

Sign up for a Student Email Address

  • Sign in to the CWL myAcccount page and click on Activate Student Email
  • You must be registered in a course and in good standing to be eligible for this service
