You’re invited to the Teaching with Technology Showcase

November 20, 2017

This September marked UBC’s successful soft launch of Canvas—the new online learning platform that will replace Connect by next year. This semester, students and faculty in over 1,000 course sections got to try out the new system, and that’s just one of the many learning technology projects on campus that we’re excited about.

On December 7 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, you’re invited to attend the Learning Technology Hub’s Teaching with Technology Showcase at the Life Sciences Centre Atrium (UBC Vancouver campus), with opening remarks from UBC Provost and Vice-President Academic Andrew Szeri. This showcase will focus on the work of UBC faculty who are using technology to advance their teaching and to enrich student learning. More than 20 projects, tools, and innovations on a wide range of themes will be showcased at this interactive, hands-on event.

This event provides an opportunity to connect with your technology-minded colleagues and to celebrate all that UBC faculty have achieved. Wine and cheese will be served. Please RSVP by November 24.
