Early Adopters

Help us test SciSure in real environments

Early Adopters are laboratories and users participating ahead of the broader rollout. Their role is to help the project team understand how SciSure performs against real practices, identify gaps early, and improve the experience for the wider UBC community.

What Early Adopters will do

  • Confirm the people and SciSure modules relevant to their laboratory or operational unit.
  • Prepare the inventory or data required for participation.
  • Attend module-specific training.
  • Use SciSure to complete agreed core functions.
  • Provide feedback on usability, training, guidance and support.
  • Help inform job aids, quick-reference materials and other resources developed through the training phase.

What Early Adopters receive

  • Earlier access to training and project support.
  • An opportunity to shape how the platform is configured and introduced at UBC.
  • A direct channel for raising workflow and usability issues before wider rollout.
  • The opportunity for highly engaged participants to join the Champions Network.

Champions Network

As the early-adopter phase progresses, the project will invite highly engaged participants to form a Champions Network. Champions will help share practical knowledge across the community, reinforce good practices, and provide a sustainable source of peer expertise after the implementation project concludes.
