IT Support for UBC’s Response to COVID-19

As part of UBC’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak, UBC IT has developed a number of tips and resources to keep the campus community informed and prepared:

  • IT’s Guide to Working Remotely: a launch page containing information for faculty and staff who are working remotely
  • Cybersecurity tips when working remotely: working remotely brings with it extra precautions – find some DIY tips and reminders on how to keep UBC information safe and secure when working off campus
  • CIO Community Update: updates from Jennifer Burns, Associate Vice-President, IT and CIO on how the OCIO and UBC IT staff continue to support UB
  • Introduction to Zoom: we’ve provisioned an enterprise license for Zoom video conferencing for teaching and learning and for virtual meetings and webinars
