Researchers are invited to an Info Session on Digital Research Infrastructure

Join UBC Advanced Research Computing (ARC) at an information session on Wednesday, September 30, to learn more about how ARC is enhancing its digital research infrastructure and how it can be accessed by UBC's research community.

ARC Digital Research Infrastructure Information Session

The information session will:

  • Introduce UBC ARC Chinook, the new secure object storage that is ideal for large unstructured research data sets, launching Monday, September 28
  • Outline changes to how researchers access high-performance computing resources on UBC ARC Sockeye
  • Introduce the Sockeye Priority Tier (formerly Extended Tier) for larger jobs
  • Provide a walkthrough of the application process for both Sockeye and Chinook services
