SOLIDWORKS Free A 3D CAD Design and analysis software, and a solid modeler that utilizes a parametric feature based approach to create models and assemblies. The software is available in most engineering computer labs and Student Engineering Kits (SEK) are available via our license agreement for your personal device. SOLIDWORKS Student Engineering Kit (SEK) is available to all Vancouver campus' Faculty of Applied Science students.

UBC has a campus agreement for commonly used Microsoft products, including: Windows OS Upgrade Version, Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.

The software and full Oracle support is available at no charge to UBC administrative and academic departments for administrative, research, and community service use.

    VideoScribe Free VideoScribe is an animation software that allows instructors to create animation videos on a virtual whiteboard. Instructors can choose from an extensive library of shapes, images and text fonts, customize the animations, and add voiceovers and soundtracks.
