UBC IoT Internet of Things wi-fi network gives your personal devices their own private network — secure, encrypted, and invisible to everyone else on campus. Your laptop, phone, gaming console, smart TV, speaker, and other personal devices see each other and work together, just like they do at home.
UBC staff, faculty, and students can connect their devices to the network using their CWL account (Multi-factor Authentication required).

Heads-up: for now, log in once every 4 weeks to keep your devices active. It’s a temporary security measure while we finish automating personal devices this fall — after that, you’ll only log in to add or remove a device.
ResNet connects UBC student residences to the campus network and the internet. It provides high-speed access to the internet for students via wired or wireless service.
ResNet is a service of UBC's Student Housing and Community Services, Green College, Vancouver School of Theology, St. Andrews College and UBC IT.

All students who live in a residence supported by ResNet can use the service. Supported residences are:
