Clicker Student Response System

Overview

Clickers are wireless handheld devices that may be used by faculty to create a highly interactive, engaging classroom experience for students. These remote-like gadgets transmit individual student responses to an instructor's computer to record and even share these results directly back to the class. UBC implemented a new system, iClicker, in Fall 2008. UBC IT is responsible for hosting the iClickers application and database and integrating the application with WebCT Vista. For more information about clickers, please see the e-Learning website.
