Events and Equipment Rentals

Overview

UBC IT Audio Visual Services is an on-campus resource for AV equipment rentals and support. We offer client consultation, delivery, setup and technical assistance for on-campus meetings, conferences and special events. We carry a diverse selection of products, ranging from laptops and projectors to wireless microphones and P.A. systems and more.

Our regular business hours are 7:30AM-4:00PM, Monday-Friday (excluding holidays). We offer after-hours and weekend AV support on a pre-booked basis. Dedicated AV support is available and can be booked for an hourly fee. 48 hours’ notice is preferred.

Costs

Our full range of products as well as daily rental rates and hourly labor rates can be viewed here. Applicable taxes may be added to the price of your rental.

  • If you are booking a room on campus for your event, you can find photos and information about bookable rooms on the Scheduling Services website.
  • Many of the classrooms available for booking have some AV equipment already installed. Please call the Events and Rentals Desk (604-822-5579) or contact the AV Help Desk and tell us about your event so that we can help to determine your specific needs and deliver an optimal solution.
