myVPN Cisco AnyConnect Client Updates

During the February 23rd quarterly maintenance window, we will be upgrading the myVPN Cisco AnyConnect client from version 2.5 to 3.1.  This new version provides support for Windows 8 and Mac OS X Mountain Lion operating systems.

After February 23rd, any existing VPN clients will automatically be upgraded to the new version when a VPN connection is initiated. The upgrade process takes a few minutes to complete.

After updating, there will be three noticeable changes:

  1. The application name will change from Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client to Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
  2. The application icon will change from the original icon

    to the new icon
  3. The application interface will be updated from the original interface

    to the new interface
